| What
is a HOBIT?
A
HOBIT is a Girl Scout Volunteer who agrees to
“Help Out a BIT” in order to assist
their Service Unit or Team.
-
Being
a HOBIT volunteer is an easy way to help your Service
Unit or TEAM without making a long-term commitment.
-
A
HOBIT volunteer agrees to commit just six (6) hours
per troop year
to assist TEAM members with their jobs.
-
A
HOBIT volunteer can help in the way she feels most
comfortable and
can volunteer to help only when she is available
or it is convenient for her.
